“Lovely cabin, cozy and ideal for couples. All ameties functioned well. Nice to have a few items supplied such as coffee and tea plus toiletries. There is also a laundry room which guests can use, most welcome when on a road trip. Hosts are friendly.”

“Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. ”

“This year we decided that instead of buying presents, we would spend time together in a cozy cabin in the woods. We arrived and had a little bit of a hard time finding our cabin and since, it was the 24th of December and there was no one to help us get to our cabin, we started looking around. The place itself is beautiful because it is in nature but there is unnecessary stuff all around, even a plane. “This cabin is a very nice combination of modern updates and a cozy log cabin that made a fantastic stay for Thanksgiving. It's really ideally situated between Shingletown and Lassen NP-- if you would like to cook it's easy, and if you want to go to town for groceries or pizza it's not far at all. It was probably one of the best stocked rentals I have been in-- from tasty snacks and wine to having all the pots and pans we needed for a holiday dinner. “The RV we had reserved did not have a functioning refrigerator so we were "upgraded" to a larger place. It did not have the same amenities as the original place. Instead of a full kitchen, there was a hot plate and tiny microwave. Instead of a dinette table, there was a postage stamp sized table that barely held 2 plates. There was no couch. . The bunk beds were wedged next to the refrigerator so every time the refrigerator kicked on, the sleeper was startled awake. The location itself was quiet……

“This property is amazing! Location is only 15 minutes from LVNP entrance. Set in a private neighborhood with great outdoor space. Home is very well decorated and equipped with everything needed to be comfortable. Great for us 4 single adults and would be comfortable for a couple more or couples or a couple of families. Plenty of space for privacy and gathering together. Very clean and hosts were wonderful to communicate and make us feel welcome (esp. with fresh baked bread). Be sure and get……

“The property has a lot of potential as it is located in a beautiful site, however, there are several outdated things that should be fixed/replaced. The place was not very clean at all, it was dusty with dirty floors. The hot tub was working as expected except that it looks like the water had not been treated with the necessary chemicals and it had a foul smell (standing water). Outdated kitchen cabinets, old sofas, and bathrooms in desperate need of updates made us almost leave the……

“Well, it did not feel like a resort. It was mostly like a trailer park with tents, cabins and trailers. I think the property needs to have a landscaping consultant to evaluate and redesign it to feel more like a resort. Also hard to find entrance off Hwy44 at night as the sign is faded and without any lighting.”
