“We had a fantastic weekend at Lancewood Lodge! The house is beautiful and eclectic, with plenty of space and a warm, welcoming vibe that made it a great retreat for our group. However, we did notice a few areas where cleanliness could be improved. “The log cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. The garden and views to the mountains were stunning. We had a very nice relaxing time. We had two things we did not like about the property. The black coating from the frypan with the handle,came off when we used it to cook with and ruined our meal. The fireplace puffed out a lot of smoke into the house whenever we opened the door to add more wood. ”

“Wow! What a space! The drive up is rather intense and I wonder if maybe there should be a warning when booking like other spaces have? Otherwise it was almost otherworldly when we arrived in the thick fog and woke in the morning to wonderful scenery. Definitely recommend ”

“We and our friends greatly enjoyed staying in this comfortable, well-equipped chalet with lovely alpine bush views in an area we had never been to before.
