I was pleasantly surprised with the Cresta Golfview Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia.
The hotel is not new or modern in anyway. There is nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to write home about in terms of the room, the hotel itself , the restaurant and the meals.
It is well maintained, very neat and clean, and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful.
The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom is very cramped, but everything works, its clean and perfectly fine if you staying for a couple of days on business.
The restuarant is quite spartan in terms of furnishings, and there is not much variety on the menu. The food was average and the servicing sizes quite big. All in all fair value for money.
The breakfast buffet was quit limited in terms of choices, however more than adequate to cover most peoples needs and tastes.
Free Wifi is available, and worked quite well during my stay.
The hotel is quite conveniently located on one of the main roads, with the shopping malls of East Park and Manda Hill within a short drive away.
However getting into town form this location can be quite challenging due to the very heavy traffic and road works.
