If you are exploring Shenandoah National Park, this cabin is SO close. “This was our second trip to Luray, first was about 6 years ago. The location is just where we wanted to be, in the country. Lots of Deer and Turkey were just next door and the Skyline Drive was only a few miles away, so riding my motorcycle to and from was a piece of cake. “This cabin needs much work, i understand where it is you will have mice and critters but the cabin has alot of mouse droppings that are not cleaned up , the pots and pans to use for cooking are in poor condition, we weren't able to use the grill no propane, the microwave had mouse droppings coming out of the vent , the wooden deck has boards coming up , and the door lock is not very secure . “Our stay at the cabin was everything we hoped for. No cell service? Check. No WiFi? Check. Beautiful scenery? Check. Secluded? Check. The cabin is in wonderful, rustic condition. “This is a great place to stay if you want to hide out in the woods for a weekend and go for a hike or two. The house itself was small but comfortable for four people and worked perfectly. We walked to the White Oak Canyon Trail and loved the hike. It was amazing to not have to drive up like I have so many times.
