“Het is een prachtige plek. Goed verzorgde appartementen en kamers in een oude boerderij. Mooi authentiek en perfect verzorgd. Heerlijk ontbijt en prachtige tuin en zwembad. Rustige locatie die een goede uitvalsbasis is om de omgeving te verkennen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ons een plek om nog eens naar terug te gaan.”

“The hotel is recently renovated (2024), and is small (used to be a Monastery) but very beautiful… the grounds are meant to be explored and delight upon. If the hotel is great, the staff, however, is on another level of excellence !!! They couldn’t be more lovely, helpful, and just AMAZING to my daughter and myself! Especially Michela!!! The restaurant and bar menus are so delicious, there are no words! The restaurant’s chef should have a Michelin star, what he gave us were not carefully planned……

“The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……

“What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting……
