“The staff is helpful and cheerful. When I get hurt during the New Year, no Tuk Tuk can be called. The boss of hostel drives me to the hospital and wait me for over half hour. The environment is clean and quiet. You can see the reality of monks just in front of the guesthouse, comparing with the "tourist" monks in French area. But the hotel is in the another side of the river. Bamboo bridge is built during the dry season but it charges 5000K for go-and-back per person. If you stay 4 days,……

“Most hotels in Luang Prabang are in the old French Quarters. Manyo is a 10 minute til-tuk or shuttle ride away. A bit less convenient, but also much quieter. That is what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They arranged for private transportation to the waterfalls at a competitive price, and provided a free shuttle back to the airport when we left. If we ever returned to Luang Prabang, this is where we would stay.”

“I was here for 3 nights and then returned another night after visiting Vang Vieng so I was in two different type rooms and they were both excellent.The second was on the second floor and have a nice balcony. But both rooms were very nice and felt luxurious. The location along the river is very nice and quiet since it is not right in the center of town.
