“It's about an hour and 20 minutes outside of Athens. We spent our week at this gorgeous home and have never felt so refreshed. The town nearby is cute and has a lot of shops and a great spa. There's a lookout by the lighthouse right down the road and the restaurants nearby were all great. The host was super helpful and easily contacted. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're traveling with a group. 10/10 I would book this place again. ”

In the apartment there is everything one needs to enjoy a comfortable stay. The centre of Loutraki is not far away and the Hotel Pappas is near to enjoy the beach and the beach bar ;) .”

“This is an excellent property for those seeking to see more of mainland Greece. 60 minutes by car or train to Athens, and a shorter 20 minute drive to historic Corinth, the villa/cottage benefits from a lovely raised position providing lovely views, great facilities and a peaceful situation. Supermarkets, restaurants and all places you might want to go are a car journey, which suits us, but might not suit everyone. Within 45 minutes in any direction there is lots to explore and some fabulous……

“Nice but simple house with front garden and direct view/access to the sea, rocky beach. Perfect to have airco in bedrooms (two weeks 36 Celsius in daytime). Whole house has mosquito screens and Spyros took good measures against insects. Bathroom to small but we managed. Be aware that the house is in Schinos, and there is a mountain to overcome to reach Loutraki town (45minutes drive) nice area with some nice restaurants, supermarket a few minutes away and…hardly any non-Greek tourists”

“The villa was great - spacious for 4, clean and well equipped. The views from the terrace were amazing. The ping-pong and football tables were much appreciated and of course the pool was fantastic. The host, Despina, was very welcoming and helpful. There are nice beaches nearby but bear in mind that you will need transport to get to them - and the local roads are narrow, winding and sometimes quite potholed. Overall, a very nice spot if you're willing to go slightly off the beaten track……
