The staff were all very nice and accomodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the neighborhood and access to tons of food options.
The hotel lobby had an amazing coffee machine and yummy pastries for breakfast.
We did venture out for a walk and found a small french bakery, Lou, The French On The Block, nearby, must go!!! Chocolate Almond Crossiant.
Dinner we went next door for Mexican, Don Cuco, great margaritas, chips and salsa, and tasty food. We enjoyed everything!
The best part about staying at the Tangerine was the retro feel of the property. It is small, which makes it feel more like a B&B not a hotel. Yes, it is a motel and not a resort but it checks all the boxes for a comfortable place to stay while you explore the nearby attractions. It is very close to Warner Bros studios and 2 miles away from Universal Studios
I wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the other restaurant options nearby but would definitely come back and stay at the Tangerine.
