The owner at the reception was very rude. He was not ready to hold the bag for an hour. I reached an hour early hoping to keep the bag with them. Instead of saying a simple no or a humble sorry he said "you should have not even come here before 2 pm". I decided to not even show up again and rather stay at a much humble place. Kindness and good words doesnt cost anything but some people are just arrogant for no reason.

Our room was freshly painted and bathroom very tight, but not bad for a quick overnight stay! The manager/owner of the property did us the big favor of holding our luggage for a few hours after check-out. The area is great! Lots of great and cozy restaurants and bars, including a small but cool shopping area near by. Lastly, my wife left her Apple watch in the room and great to know it was kept safe with manager/owner. We appreciate the excellent customer service!

My room was on the top floor which there was an awful lot of stairs and ectremely steep. The room was absolutley tiny you could lie in bed and put the kettle on. The tv wouldnt work had hurrenous signal, and the the shower room was dingy, stepped upto it and could touch either side of the room if i put my arms out. Sink was filthy

The hotel inside looked as if its previously just been painted and smelled fresh, we got the top room, decent size with own bathroom, ( if you are not fit or able for alot of stairs i wouldnt recommend) the bed was comfortable. Fairly clean standards. The man who checked us in was very friendly and informative about the hotel and check out time ect. Would stay here again.

Our room was great for a family of 4,a double and 2 singles. Basic shower room but excellent for the price especially given the location. Take a bit of time to explore locally for food etc

The room was super small, me and my friend didn’t feel very safe, the shower leaked and the whole bathroom floor was soaked so we had to use one of our 2 towels on the floor - meaning we had to share a towel, the shower curtain had mould around the bottom of it, there were stain all over the walls. Behind that, it was a good nights sleep, somewhere to crash after a work do as we couldn’t get home, would’ve appreciated a duvet and not just a sheet and a blanket. The whole experience/ stay was such a laugh because you honestly just have to laugh it off but I can’t stay we would stay again.

Do not book here! Stay away!
Goodwood hotel should not be classified as a hotel! It was filthy with broken door handles and moldy bathroom. The room I got was situated throught the basement into a garagestyle building. No amount of airfreshners could mask the smell of cannabis and mold. The windows were left open and the radiators left on full blast. Placed my suitcase upright on the floor and had to run to an important meeting. After the meeting i returned to grab my suitcase. There was no way i was going to stay the night. Upon asking for a refund for the room, I was told to contact Hotels.com about this and we are currently in a dialogue about getting a refund despite goodwood is refusing.

We booked the triple room with private bathroom. The room was down in the basement, which was reached by a series of narrow, rickety stairs and uneven floors. All doors were very dirty. Room was small with beds in odd positions. Nowhere to put or hang clothes, no bedside cabinets or lamps. Just one dim ceiling light with exposed wiring and a dirty lampshade. The kettle looked grubby (we didnt risk using it). There was paint/ plaster peeling off the walls and the whole room smelt very damp. The bathroom was tiny. You couldn't stand up from the toilet without either opening the bathroom door or falling down the lip into the miniscule shower area. The whole bathroom was smaller than a caravan shower room. You could laso hear the underground trains rumbling all night. The room cost £123 for the night. Ok, thats a good price for central london but i would at least expect basic, clean amenities. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Til dato det ringeste hotelværelse ever og vi har rejst meget! Sengen var med tydelige fjedre som kunne mærken når vi sad og lå på sengen. Manglende top madras, hvilket kunne have hjulpet markant! Den ene indiske receptionist var uvenlig og ikke service mindet. Det værste var at man ikke kunne komme og stille bagagen ved tidl. ankomst og ved afgang kunne den heller ikke stå nogle timer på hotellet som alle andre steder vi har rejst! Det gode ved hotellet var 100% beliggenheden! Og så var det lunt og tørt. Værelset var IKKE SOM PÅ BILLEDERNE! Der blev ikke tømt skraldespand eller skiftet håndklæder. Trapperne op til værelset var meget stejle og smalle. Vi kommer aldrig retur hertil.
