I stayed 5 nights there. It was a modest college dormitory with refrigerator in the room (a plus). The reception was great, and it provided luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. The room reminded me of college life with huge book shelves and reading table. There is a washing sink in the room, but no showering or toilet equipment, yet the public ones were clean enough. No TV in the room, either. It was "lively" somehow at night since college students were talkative outside along the street.
However, the information about breakfast service was vague. I received the message during check-in that I could have a breakfast with an additional charge of 10 pounds each time when entering the restaurant. But there seems to be 2 halls serving breakfast in the college, and I walked into the one which charged me item by item (I spent almost 14 pounds that breakfast). This costing experience really surprised me, and thus I never tried breakfast service again! It would be much better for he reception to specify the service in details.
