“We had a fantastic time. The cabin was just as pictured. It was decorated so cute and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We especially appreciated the fireplace as it was cold and snowing most of the time. The host was very attentive and responded to any questions very quickly. The area was so nice and the lake was beautiful. We will definitely be back and will definitely stay in the "Nirvana" cabin again. ”

“Great weekend getaway! Super close to restaurants/stores with beautiful lake view. Place was clean and bonus having water filtration system. There are a lot of steps from parking (since it was snowing we couldn’t get up driveway) but was not an issue. ”

“The place had a perfect unobstructed view of the lake. The place was nice and warm for our winter trip. Comfortable furniture and bed for lounging around. The only complaint we had was when we arrived there was pee in the toilet and on the seat. The first thing we had to do was clean that ourselves not a fun start to the vacation. Overall though it was a good place and would recommend. ”

“Very clean and well maintained. Decor includes interesting items from around the world. Master bed was comfy, and owner was friendly on the phone. When she learned we were coming for my husband's birthday, she left a fun card for him with all the check-in info. We went in October and enjoyed the cozy gas fireplace and beautiful lake view. A busy road stands between the condo and the lake, but it's not a huge issue in cold weather when windows are closed. If you're looking for remote mountain……

The location along the Potomac River and C&O Canal towpath is fabulous, so close to town yet our own little world.
