“Nice area. Room was fine. No breakfast service during our stay.”

“Staff were friendly and helpful, location handy and beautiful, with red squirrels nearby and nesting house martins. My only suggestion would be that - as we should be reducing meat and dairy consumption for environmental reasons - vegetarian breakfast should be the norm.”

The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us good local knowledge about good pubs and lovely walks to take. The optional breakfast was fantastic and they were able to accommodate to our dietary needs.”

“Had a lovely two night stay. The corner bath was a deciding factor when deciding where to stay. We found the place to be clean and although we didn’t see staff we also didn’t have a need to see them. The key lock was easy to use to collect the key and return it. They were aware of my wife’s dietary needs as we had enquired about places to eat. When we arrived along with the usual tea/coffee biscuit were some harribo which felt like they cared enough to look into alternatives for gluten free.……

“Only stayed for three nights, but thought it was a lovely place. The room decor is very modern/contemporary, which is what I like. Bed and bedding was comfortable, but was only a small double bed, presumably because the room was quite small. We will stay again , but will book a bigger room next time.”

“A absolute gem of a hotel, the room was superb and the food was also a 10 . I cannot fault this hotel it really is 10/10 . Also a thank you to adam who makes fantastic cocktails ”

“Had a lovely 2 night stay in the Cairngorm Suite with my husband and 2 kids (5years & 4 months old). Firstly the location was perfect and in walking distance to countless pubs, restaurants, shops etc. The room itself was beautiful and the bedroom especially was incredibly spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding/duvets etc all felt really good quality. Bathroom was spotless, the shower wasnt very powerful but thats being pernickety. Plenty of storage space throughout the suite……

“A poor start when they failed to answer any of my emails, but my call was answered. The lodges, especially on the outside, were tired and a bit tatty, but everything was clean and functional. Beds were good and pillows were great. Very well equipped for self-catering and everything we needed for a family of four. The only irritation was that they allow pets and there was evidence of animal hair on decorative bed throws and cusions, but not enough to bother us. Parking was right beside lodge and……

“The rooms are older, the soundproofing is worse, the lift is still broken, but overall it's more comfortable and the restaurant is nice with lots of breakfast options.”

“Great find. 5 mins up dual carriageway from Aviemore. Beautiful wee village. Bar full of locals. Always a good sign. Stayed with my dog. Very dog friendly. Good breakfast. Cooked to order, no buffet Will definitely be back with the misses.”

“The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well accommodated. They even carried out (incredibly heavy!!) suitcases upstairs for us. The food was incredible and there was so much variety. The only issue was the shower in our room which didn’t have temperature control and the screen was a bit broken. This wasn’t an issue for us as we were only there one night and the standalone bath was beautiful!! The rooms need a little updating but the space is incredible and the rooms……
