Nice but not quite
"Pretty good overall, issue was there is building works which spoilt the whole reason for staying. Would not have booked if we knew about the works, perhaps some interaction with hotels.com wouldn’t go a miss"

"We had a lovely stay at Bevan house, visiting the area to attend a wedding. The house was large and well equipped and the hit tub was really fantastic. Lovely area, but town rather run down and considering this was the Victorian Weekend festival - most shops were closed on the Saturday as was the Cycle museum, and the Spa tea rooms

Went back to revisit area that I went to as a child. The museum was well worth a visit. Walk around the lake was nice, but the cost of hiring a boat was a little expensive. Also, unfortunately, like many other town centres shops have closed.

A lovely town and a great place to visit. Also the local Ford Dealer "Tremont Ford" did me an amazing deal on my new Ford Kuga which i have come to collect.
