All the staff were very friendly and my room was clean. We had a lovely view of the docks from the room. So many restaurants and bars within walking distance, very ideal.

We were awoken by builders across the way from us. At 7.40am Was told a king rolm only faces that way which is more expensive than a double room. I had asked for a change and the nice lady tried her best and found a double room river view and said I would have to speak with the manager regarding discount or refund. When I spoke I got told that it was an extra 40 pound anyway because of the river view that they wouldn’t charge for that and told me a price for an extra night for 160 which was saving 55 pound it didn’t make sense because 40 of that was due to a river view and that means we got a discount only of 15 pound. We didn't take this as it was to expensive and got no compensation due to our 1st day there we travelled from Dublin to enjoy a break and lie in and didn receive this at all

Schönes, ruhiges Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf die Albert Docks. Leider war das Zimmer nicht wirklich geputzt (Staub, Fingerabdrücke etc.). Das Frühstück ist super mit viel Auswahl (Full English Breakfast, Obst, Süßspeisen), alles frisch. Der Service war sehr höflich. Kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung war möglich. Wir sind mit dem Bus vom Flughafen Manchester gekommen und mussten von Liverpool One nur wenige Minuten gehen. Auch sonst ist die Lage perfekt - Zentrum mit Geschäften als auch Triangle mit Brauereien etc. Sind in nächster Nähe. Wir werden das Maldron bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Liverpool ganz bestimmt erneut buchen.

Clean & modern hotel in a good location for Liverpool One, Albert Dock etc.
My only suggested improvement would be a bit more attention to detail: A mix of different pillows available in the room; working air conditioning; sufficient loo roll etc.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. It is local for shopping entertainment and plenty of dining options. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size and linen of top quaility. It is very clean and decor is lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

I stayed at the hotel for my birthday on New Year’s Eve and it was fantastic. The cafe was great to have a coffee in while we waited to meet with friends and then the buffet breakfast was top tier! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. There was building site round the hotel and our view wasn’t so pretty but we cannot fault the hotel in any way. Delicious breakfast, clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Easy check in and out.

Check in was amazing. Champagne upon arrival and quick friendly service. Restaurants food was good and everyone was so nice. No complaints. Walked everywhere!

Area around the hotel is a building site. Rubbish strewn everywhere outside.
Impressive lobby.
Expedia advertised the property with late check out available until 1400 at £10 p/h from 1100hrs and to sort on arrival.
Was told on arrival this is incorrect and it is £10 between 1100 and 1200, then £45 thereafter. Late checkout only available until 1300.
After some deliberation (the staff were very good in fairness) I paid £20 to check out at 1300.
Unfortunately we were woken at 1100 the following morning by loud knocking asking us to leave. We explained we’d paid for late checkout. 20mins later we received a call to the room to offer proof of payment. Very unhappy with the level of unprofessionalism.
Bathroom door wouldn’t lock.
Door to room only shut when forced.

Location is excellent. We were attending a concert at the M&S Arena and this was just a few minutes walk away. The hotel is modern and splotlessly clean. The room was large and bright with a huge bathroom.

The hotel was very modern, clean, tidy and comfortable - everything we wanted for a city break.
However the stand out for us was the customer service I received from one staff member in particular. I'm so very sorry I didn't catch his name but he was the Guest Experience Manager at the hotel.
When I got home from our overnight stay I discovered I'd left a brand new (and quite expensive) pair of jeans in the wardrobe in our room. I made a call to the hotel and spoke to their Guest Experience Manager, who said "it was me who checked you in yesterday"! He swiftly located my jeans and arranged for their return to me via a 24hr couriered and tracked service (at a very reasonable cost). Sure enough they were dispatched the very next morning as promised and are now safely back with me.
It's so refreshing to receive such good customer service from both the Guest Experience Manager and of course the Housekeeping department.
Thank you so much again - an absolute gentleman and certainly providing Guests with a great experience!
