“The best (family) hotel in the Isle of Man? We were on the island for a few days and wanted to cover as much as possible of the island. The location was perfect to cover north, south, west and eastern parts of the island.
We got a connecting room and had some disturbance in the morning from the room next to us but the staff blocked it off after the guest checked out. Excellent service. Breakfast is somewhat basic but had everything you needed and a great scrambled egg.

“Great find, on the seafront. Modern interiors, lovely room and the staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for you.
Rooms have free crisps /drinks/chocolate - which are replenished daily, a lovely touch.
Restaurant was great, steak cooked to perfection as was the room service .

“Great location. Staff were extremely nice and professional. Just note there are no actual outdoor balconies here, the photos are of indoor balconies which was the oddest thing Id ever seen. The balcony was in the middle of the building facing the open walkway corridor of the rooms opposite so you cant go to sleep wirh the curtains opening hoping that daylight will wake you natrually unless you want those across from you seeing you walking in your PJs.”

“Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc.
Breakfast was included. Juice,cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much……

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

“Kittiwake House was an excellent place to stay in Port Erin and a very convenient base for exploring all of Isle of Man. There's so much within a short walk (Tesco, restaurants, takeaway, The Isle of Man Railway, etc) that a handier location is hard to imagine. The view over the strand to the bay and surrounding cliffs is magnificent.
