“Superb views over to Richmond Castle from the large garden. Dog friendly in all areas. Lovely breakfast. Walkable into Richmond town in about 15 mins although he Inn sits on the blind corner of a quite fast road so care needs to be taken.”

“Il pub é bello e la struttura pulita.e ordinata. Si percepisce amore e cura. Il cibo é ottimo l, in particolare il Sunday roast. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili, oltre che sorridenti e simpatici. Per le nostre abitudini il letto della stanza in cui eravamo era un po' piccolo ma comodo. Le dimensioni della stanza piuttosto ridotte ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Ottima dotazione di asciugamani e cuscini. ”

“We stopped off at the Wheatsheaf after a very long day of driving. We were cutting it fine to get there in time for dinner but I phoned ahead and let them know we were coming. We arrived 5 minutes before last food order but we were made to feel really welcome and weren’t rushed at all. We had an excellent dinner before we even checked in! The staff were friendly and welcoming. I adjourned to the cosy bar area after dinner for a drink while reading my book. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and……
