“We just got back from Casa Cristal and are already thinking about going back. The house was as listed but the location was better than expected. Everything about it was beautiful. So much space to everyone. We didn't rent a car but walking to the beach and town was very convenient. The host, Alex, was very helpful in organizing the excursions we planned on doing and had transportation to and from activities. We hired a chef for a night and when we decided to add 3 more nights, he organized……

“The grounds of this home are even more beautiful than the pictures. It is a sensory feast - the gardens, butterflies, parrots, iguanas, songbirds, toucans, ocean and mountain views, smells of flowers and jungle - you just don't get tired of it. Only the bedrooms have AC, so the main living area can get warm midday, but the fans held a lot. The kitchen is set up well for making family meals (and saving money as eating out is pricey). The pool and the 3rd floor balcony are major plusses. I do not……

“Our only regret is not having enough time to thoroughly enjoy the grounds and waterfalls. We were here for two nights, and I wish we had longer. It was a peaceful home that brought the outdoors inside, and Deborah was an amazing host. We will def be back the next time we are in Costa Rica :)”
