「Hotel staff were courteous, helpful, and professional...room was well-equipped, well-prepared, and fairly quiet...hot water in the shower was super..breakfast was good, but the packets of butter should have been refrigerated or iced, as the ones I used were rancid and odorous...my only strong criticism was the state of the carpet in the room -- it was filthy and it blackened the bottoms of our feet...dirty footprints were visible on the tile in the hallway and bathroom...I suggest a deep steam...

「We had a fabulous stay at Villa Tortuga. The property is beautiful and every need was anticipated. Chef Ricardo and Alba were amazing chefs as well as so friendly and helpful. 「Very friendly welcome from the owner who came to pick us up in Orosi, as we couldn't find the address. The garden is beautiful, waking up with birdsongs is wonderful, and the terrace which offers a beautiful view of the garden, is very pleasant. However it's impossible ton be on th terrace from 5 PM, as there are lots of mosquitos. Finally, the interior of the house could do with a facelift, or at the very least a thorough cleaning. 」
