"Mary and I have stayed at quite a few VRBO's and this was by far the best, from the high quality of the accommodations, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I received a birthday card, bottle of wine, birthday cupcakes, there were fresh flowers in every room, the bedding was amazing, a generous supply of snacks and drinks and the place was tastefully decorated for the Easter season. "

"The property is quite lovely, surrounded by the rolling hills of western Virginia. The house was perfect, a lot of space to spread out if needed. We spent our evenings on the screened in back porch. The pool and gardens were an added bonus. Every evening the neighbor cows would graze along the fence line- just a lovely get away from the City! "

"Loved the location and property was pretty, modern, clean and easy parking. Gym was great, but pool was not clean so could not use. Full Kitchen was great to have and mostly stocked. My cons are not many. For the money it would have been nice to have a kitchen towel and more than one kitchen trash bag. Last was poor communication when I wanted to extend my stay, tried through call, text and email and was able to get any response."

"1st time visiting the East Coast and our stay in this beautiful, quaint home was perfect! We felt the warm welcome as soon as we walked in and enjoyed the thoughtful complimentary items. The house was close to Harper’s Ferry & neighboring cities, lots to do in close proximity. Enjoyed the porch on our last night as we sat and listened to the rain and the sound of the river. Host was very attentive & prompt. Definitely recommend as a place to stay for a small family!"

But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!"

"The house is a wonderful historic home, built in 1853, within walking distance of Harpers Ferry's attractions. Plentiful towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and fans in the bedrooms (which also help cover the sounds of the trains at night) are big pluses."
