“My husband and I stayed in the boathouse for an anniversary weekend getaway and we had a wonderful weekend. Tedi is the most gracious host, and let us know all the local spots. We were there in mid-November 2024, so just at the start of the Manatee season and we were able to swim with a few, but there weren't piles of them as seen in pictures, that comes later in the season. We used the boathouse 2-person kayak to get out in the mornings and paddle up to swim in the springs which was a great……

“We loved our stay in Homosassa. The unit was cozy and comfy. It was chilly in the area, but the heater worked to keep us warm. There was an electric fireplace on the wall, but we couldn't get it to work. Overall, the place was very clean and comfortable ”

“Location is far enough that it's gave the quiet serene feeling we were looking for. We even got to see firefly's for the first time since we were all kids. The road leading to the house is unpaved so please be careful. The property manager stayed on property near by in case we needed anything. Apologies if we watched movies to loud.”
