"We really liked the location, just a few minute walk from the Palace. Free on-site parking was a big bonus as well. The room was clean, looked like new, and bedding very comfortable. Now what not to like. $18 breakfast per person is too much. We had great coffee and pastries in a nearby bakery paying just $7. And the check-in was really bad. The reception was supposed to open at 5pm, but it was still closed at 5:15, with several guests waiting. Luckily we found that after 5 the check-in machine...

"Perfectly situated in the centre of Fontainebleau and opposite the chateau. Napoleon underground car park right opposite but be aware that your vehicle must be under 1.85m so not possible for us. This should be made clear on the hotel details as it’s difficult to reverse onto main road. Foyer and bar are really stylish if a little cold with a drain type smell on the way to the lifts. "Comfortable and convenient hotel. It looks big but is really quite small. The grounds are in need of a gardener but the oak forest in front of the hotel shield it from a very busy road. There is a Buffalo Grill opposite but there is no pedestrian exit so a little difficult in my opinion. The hotel is very close to Vaux le Vicomte and Fontainebleau if like us you like visiting chateaux."

"Perfect place to stay for a night if you have to take a plane the next day from Orly… free shuttle form and to the airport ( no shuttle between 0930 am and 4.30 pm but a metro just opposite that takes you to the airport in 2 mn to terminal 4 from there you can walk to the others … only 2 euros) basic room but clean, breakfast available with good choice of viennoiseries, fresh fruits, cereals, eggs tea coffee etc for 11 euros)"
