Evalena Beach is a good hotel, with mid-size, fairly basic rooms which were cleaned daily.
Towels were changed daily however these & the beach towels definitely need replacing as they appear old & well used.
The mattress we found to be very comfortable and the shower room modern and clean, though not a lot of space for your personal toiletries.
Small fridge in the room which didn’t keep drinks very cold but a welcome large bottle of water in the room when we arrived.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis.
The breakfast offering is of a good standard with a selection of hot & cold options, yoghurts, breads and pastries etc.
Drinks were self service from 3 machines in the area which were always very busy and crowded but clean.
The hotel is well located, a short distance from the main areas but walkable within 10 minutes.
The pool area is very small & unfortunately we were never able to find a sunbed during the whole period of our stay due to people placing towels on the beds from very early each morning so we are unable to comment further on this facility.
Our main gripe with this hotel is the unfriendliness of the staff.
They all appear very aloof and keep their heads down to avoid making eye contact when entering and leaving the building.
We heard a few people ask if a late check out was available, including ourselves, however I didn’t hear of anyone being offered one, even though the hotel didn’t appear to be full.
We felt the reception staff could have been friendlier.
