“Great atmosphere environment loved it”

“I arrived prepared to rough it knowing that I’m in the woods and I did not expect the amenities and comforts that were available. I had the feeling of communing with nature while simultaneously having all the comforts of home. The property manager communicated everything I needed to know to access the property and maximize the experience. As a retired Marine living on a fixed income, I thought the price of the stay was reasonable. The best endorsement I can think of is “I intend to stay here……

“Sandy the caretaker was lovely and did a good job, going out of her way to place fresh flowers and write directions to the park entrance. It has a very nice view and is quiet and remote. Furniture is quality and comfortable. But cats took over the porch, there was no heat, no cell reception, and the well could run out of water at anytime. Be ready for remote living.”

It's technically inside Kings Canyon Park, which saved us a lot of driving time each day. We wish we could have stayed there longer! The cabin has so much character and charm. We loved the fireplace in the master bedroom, multiple smart TVs and cozy kitchen. It's only a few minutes drive from the restaurant in Grant Grove Village and a very small market, but a far drive from any other……
