“The view was amazing and the ability to travel via the Rigi Bahn network all over the mountain was spectacular. The property owner was very communicative and helpful. Only problem was we wanted to stay longer! Unforgettable vacation. ”

“Sogar die Lage der Hütte ist besonders, wer das erste Mal dorthin fährt, wird sich wundern wohin das Navi einen führt, wenn man aber ankommt ist es den Weg wert. Auf dem Parkplatz befindet sich direkt ein Brunnen, durch das wunderbar frisches und schmackhaftes Bergquellwasser läuft. Direkt daneben sieht man die traumhafte Aussicht ins Tal und den Sarner See. Durch die hohe Lage ist man ziemlich abgeschieden und kann die Zeit in Ruhe genießen, einzig die Kühe und Schafe der nahe gelegenen Weiden……

“Cannot give anything else other than 5 stars purely for the location. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds although the doubles were 2 camp beds pushed together. Nice cabin feel but could do with being updated. TV was too small but the view outside made up for this. WiFi was good with no dropping out at all. Bathrooms were dated but the water was hot and the showers were very powerful, Towels were not adequate for a weeks stay, one medium bath towel and one hand towel per person, we……

“Locatie is prima in een rustige wijk net buiten Interlaken-Ost met mooi uitzicht. Het is geen probleem als meubels en inrichting wat gedateerd zijn maar het moet niet kapot zijn en goed schoon. Dat was helaas niet het geval: verlichting die niet werkte, veel verlengsnoeren nodig, muffe lucht, planken in kasten ontbraken, huur linnen stonk, was kapot en niet schoon. Servies en bestek was ook niet schoon en wederom veel verlengsnoeren in keuken bij water (gevaarlijk). Jammer want past niet bij de……

“Our family of 5 (aged 18+) had a wonderful stay in Chalet Esther, Brienz. The weather was perfect while we were there, so we spent most of our time exploring the whole area. But, we always came home for dinner together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (no microwave), and grocery stores were easy to get to. We are a tall family, so be aware that anyone 6 feet tall or more will be at risk of hitting their head often. We lovingly referred to Chalet Esther as our dollhouse as low……

“Ce chalet est décoré de façon impersonelle comme les logements qui sont 100% dédiés à la location. Cependant on s'y sent bien. La pièce à vivre est très lumineuse avec grande baie vitrée. La terrasse est sans vis à vis avec vue à 180 degré sur la vallée et les superbes montagnes ainsi vue sur un glacier. C'est très calme. Grindelwald est un village très touristique proposant une très large palette d'activités pour tous les âges. Nous avons fait beaucoup de randonnées en haute montagne avec vues……

Few quirks we wish we knew beforehand TV doesnt hang in a spot that can be veiwed easily Driveway down to the place is so narrow that a car only passes through with centimeters to spare on each side, followed by a steep hill with a sharp turn.
