Cozy fisherman's house with roof terrace

The 4-5 persons (5 person sofa bed) fully equipped holiday home Lote 25 is above the cozy village square in the middle of the old village of Ferragudo. The house is registered as an official holiday home (owner license: 204/2015).
The house has an open kitchen with a large dining area, two bedrooms and a large living room. The sun shines all day - even in winter - to the large roof terrace. For the car are in the immediate vicinity of the house sufficient parking spaces available.
The more original and picturesque fishing village testifies to the picturesque maze of narrow streets and winding staircases very of its Moorish past. In the village there are several recommended Portuguese and international restaurants. Specifically, the typical small cafes in the town square invite at a 'Bica' or a cool drink like to stay. The surrounding village shops you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, meat and fish etc.. Large supermarkets and shops to stroll in Portimão or Lagoa, are within 5-15 min. To reach by car. The nearest beach, the Praia Grande, which is very suitable for small children, there are only 5 min. Walk. Village close to several beautiful beaches in the Algarve cliffs, which are also all within easy walking distance.

Our local support speaks Portuguese, English and German.

Ein schönes Zuhause auf Zeit
Wir waren zwei Wochen im Oktober in Ferragudo und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Häuschen bietet alles, was man braucht. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein, zwei Bier, ein Wasser und Obst auf dem Tisch. Das Haus ist recht geräumig. Die Dachterrasse lädt ein zu einem Abend bei Kerzenschein und das "Kaminzimmer" zu einem Fernsehabend ... Der Ansprechpartner Uwe steht vor Ort mit Rat und Tat parat (an dieser Stelle noch mal ein großes "DANKE"). Die Lage ist zudem perfekt. Man läuft keine 10 Minuten zum Strand, in 3 Minuten ist man beim Bäcker und in 5 auf dem Hauptplatz, wo immer etwas los ist. Wir können das Fischerhaus und Ferragudo nur empfehlen und tun dies hiermit sehr gern!

Séjour agréable. Ferragudo est un village atypique et très charmant.
Dommage que la climatisation et internet soit en supplément du prix de la location qui est déjà conséquent. Il manque aussi beaucoup d éléments de cuisine et l eau chaude dans la douche un peu capricieuse. Un double des clés aurait plus simple et pratique poir un séjour de 4 personnes. Dans l ensemble l emplacement est idéale. Pas loin des commerces et de la mer. Beau séjour

The Algarve worked its magic
We really enjoyed our stay at Ferragudo. The property, in a quiet, quaint neighbourhood, was just what we were looking for and within 5 minutes' walk of the centre of Ferragudo via narrow, cobbled ruas , most barely a cars-width wide, and steep flights of steps. There there is a pocket-sized "supermarket" with all essential supplies, including fresh meat and vegetables and some superb wines. A city-sized supermarket is 30 minutes' away. The house was well equipped, everything about it comfortable including the bed and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Très bonne situation
Malgré une chaleur à l'intérieur de la maison (merci au ventilateur.climatisation à ajouter au frais)elle est très agréable et très bien située . Manque un peu de placard dans la cuisine pour mètre la nourriture mais dans l'ensemble ça va .pas de problème pour se garer derrière la rue.

Kleines aber feines Häuschen, welches im "Oberdorf" liegt und von dem aus sowohl der Strand als auch der "Marktplatz" in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen sind. Außer einer Spülmaschine bietet es einem alles, was man in einem Ferienhaus benötigt.

Sehr empfehlenswert.
Sehr ordentliche und praktische Ferienwohnung mit landestypischem Flair. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der deutsche Ansprechpartner vor Ort war sehr hilfreich, unkompliziert und sehr nett. Die Lage im Ort ruhig und doch unweit vom Zentrum und auch sehr günstig gelegen für Ausflüge an die Strände der Felsenküste der Algarve ziemlich in der Mitte zwischen Sagres im Westen und Tavira im Osten, wirklich sehr schön und vor allem erholsam.

The property was beautiful just as the pictures with plenty of towels etc. Property manager came to explain anything we didn’t understand. We did have one issue with the washer near the end of the trip. The lock on the washer got stuck so that our clothes were locked in the machine. The property manager tried to help us remotely but had to come to help us with the machine. He had to have someone come and repair the lock. Nothing but good experiences to report

Maison dans le centre de la vieile ville.Propre ,bien aménagé.Spacieux.
Nous avons passés des agréables vacances dans la maison à Ferragudo.Elle est bien aménagée. et bien située dans la vieille ville.Idéale pour faire ses courses chez les commerces locaux ou pour aller aux restaurants du port. C'est possible d'aller à la plage à pied. Il y a assez de place pour mettre sa voiture. Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de vue sur mer.

Delivered everything promised
Just returned from a 4 week stay (mid Jan to mid Feb 2019) and were already looking to book again for next year. We had a great stay, the cottage was clean, tidy and well stocked with every thing you could want from a self catering property. Uwe, our contact in Ferragudo met us on arrival to show us how everything worked and on the few occasions we sort his advise he was there for us, nothing was to much for him. Due to the weather we made great use of the sun roof and the wood fire kept us nice and cosy during the colder evenings. The cottage is situated in a nice quite area but well placed for both the beach and the town centre. Both of which have plenty of restaurants along with local cafe's and a few bars. Ferragudo it's self is a lovely quaint old style Portuguese town with lots of narrow streets and walkways with many steps and slopes.

Schöne Wohnung
Schöne, geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtete, geräumige Wohnung, bestens ausgestattet mit allen Gerätschaften, die man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Günstig gelegen am Ortsrand zur sehr schönen Altstadt. Kurze Entfernungen zu kleinen Geschäften und zum Strand. Dort allerdings - je nach Windrichtung auch auf dem Dachbalkon - hört man zeitweise das fürchterliche, eintönige Gewummere der Bässe, das über die Bucht von einer Diskothek in Portomaio herüber dringt. Wie oft das insgesamt ist, wissen wir nicht. Herr Franke war freundlich, immer zu erreichen und hilfsbereit. Zur Begrüßung standen Obst und eine Flasche Wein auf dem Tisch, im Kühlschrank Wasser. Eine sehr nette Empfangsgeste. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt.

Angenehme Zeit verbracht
Das vorgefundene Häuschen entsprach unseren Vorstellung. Es ist einfach, aber es gibt alles was für einen schönen Urlaub erfoderlich ist. Bei der Begrüßung findet man schon Obst und Getränke vor. Vom Häuschen erreicht man auf ganz kurzen Wegen Bäcker und Tante-Emma Laden. Die Restaurants die im Info-Buch beschrieben sind, können wir nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Bei kleinen Problemen steht Herr Franke mit Rat und Tat sofort zur Verfügung. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub.

Logement spatieux avec terrasse
Appartement confortable, bien équipé, grande surface, avec possibilité de garer sans problème un véhicule à l'arrière de la maison (accès direct par la terrasse). Terrasse très agréable pour le petit déjeuner et le dîner, en été. Climatisation en option mais malgré des températures journalières pouvant atteindre 38°C, la maison reste fraîche la nuit. Toutefois, la cuisinière et le chauffe-eau, tous deux à gaz, pourraient être remplacés par des appareils électriques.
