“We were delighted to find this gem of a house so close to downtown Shipshewana. Miriam was an excellent host and responded quickly to all of our questions. The property is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and was very clean and cozy. ”

“The house on the lake was the perfect place for four friends to spend a weekend getaway. Everything was easy- location, getting to, and checking in and out. The Hansons are great hosts and were easy to message with and answered any questions we had about our stay. While the weather did not cooperate we still had a wonderful time hiking and photographing nature at the nearby Wing Haven Preserve and dining out in Angola. Everything was clean and perfect, lots of great space, and being dog-friendly……

“Great place in an area with several good golfing options. The house has all the amenities that you would want for a several night stay; a lot of space, big back yard, fire pit. Grills to cook, full kitchen and several close restaurants nearby.”

“The cabin is simple but comfortable. The lake view is beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood with narrow streets. We were able to check in early. We felt very safe and enjoyed the view of the lake from the cabin. It was too cold and windy to be outside. Close proximity to Amish community. Some suggestions for the owner: Window blinds on the large windows for nighttime, soap in the showers and dishwasher detergent for the dishwasher. The bedrooms are large enough for king size beds but only……

“This cabin is very cozy with a beautiful wrap around porch. The kitchen is well equipped should you want to cook during your stay and hot tub towels are provided which was very nice. The owners property is very close and kids were riding go carts around the adjacent property. I have kids so it didn’t bother me but it was not as secluded and private as the listing seemed to indicate. Otherwise I highly recommend this cabin and would book again. ”
