"We booked the modern Japanese room and it was spacious and cute, the hotel is about 8-minute walk from Warabi Station, with various convenient stores and restaurant nearby. Staff are courteous and friendly. Highly recommend if you want to experience a more local feel. "

"Stay was good, but this is not a traditional hotel. This is a ryokan-style room with kitchen and table. Two beds were raised, and two were futons, like mattress pads on the tatami. (Mind you, they were not uncomfortable, they are just not the 'norm' if you're coming from US.) If you're planning on cooking, this would be a good place. The breakfast offered is toast and coffee, which you would need to make in your room. The location is a little out of the way, but not too bad. "

"建物は経年が感じられますが室内はリノベーションされておりまた清潔に保たれていました。夕方入室した際暖房で暖められていて冷えて疲れた体が癒されました。駅に程近く、コンビニ、飲食店も充実していました。駐車場はなく、近隣のパーキング周辺は道幅が狭いため少し遠くを利用しました。"

"清潔で室内で快適に過ごせました。Wi-Fiも使え、キッチンも食器など十分にありましたし、風呂トイレも清潔でした。タオルはバスタオルとハンドタオルなので、フェイスタオルのみ持参した方が良いですね。3階でエレベーターが無いので、荷物を運ぶのは少々大変ですが、仕方がないでしょうね。また機会が有れば利用させて頂きたいと思います。"

"They gave my booking away and didn't tell me till I arrived. I spent $87.00 on a Taxi and then had find some other accommodation at 8.pm at night!!! "

"My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I would recommend it if you are traveling with a large group that wants to stay in separate rooms. Please keep in mind that most of the bedrooms are on the top floor and the stairs may be too steep for older people/young kids."

"Karwan house was a good place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of busy Japan life. Perfect place for couples or families, walking distance to two kombini and 20min to the train. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. "

"The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. They were mt favorite part about this hotel. As long as I brought up any question or issue, they went out of their way to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. I was surprised by the fact that they only have smoking rooms, but they used a deodorizing spray multiple times and helped me ventilate the room so the smell smoke smell was almost entirely gone. "Great spot to stay in Tokyo - exceeded our expectations! Room was a reasonable size by Tokyo standards and bed being elevated off the ground meant we could store our suitcases underneath to free up floor space. Toilet being separate from the shower was handy. Location was good - quick, easy walk (even with suitcases) to train station. Only downside was that we wanted to sit in the downstairs communal area to get some work done on our laptops (no space to do this in our room) but were told we couldn't use this area during breakfast as we were not paying to have the breakfast buffet. "
