“This was our second year staying at the Northstar Chalet and it was so much fun! There were a couple issues like one of the upstairs showers not working and the water from the fridge was a bit slimey, but we were able to work around these. I never received a reply in the beginning about getting an earlier check in, so going to keep that in mind for next time we book our stay. 5PM is quite late to check in when coming from Calgary and staying just for the weekend! ”

“This place checked all the boxes. Absolutely wonderful. All amenities were there. House able to accommodate our group of 15 without any problems. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked; seasonings, pots, extra settings and much more. Enough seating for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Garage was great for ski equipment, even had 3 boot warmers. Decks looking out to gorgeous scenery. Owner accommodating to our requests. Hot tub big. I do not have one negative thing to say. We will be back……

“My family of 7 came to Canada from Texas to visit Banff NP, Yoho NP, Kootenay NP and the Icefields Parkway. This cabin was the perfect place to go home to after visiting those very busy but very beautiful parks and lakes. It was completely quiet and restful. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed including an ice cream maker which my son used to make almond ice cream and an instapot which we used to make chili. “Great place, real ski in ski out. It was not so clear that the name of the property "selkirk 17" also refered to the door number. When we arrived at the adress and realised that there were multiple cottage with the same adress we had to look a bit before checking in. The internet was really bad, almost impossible to use...”

“Excellent house, great kitchen, hot tub, Sauna. Close to ski hill and about 15 minutes from Golden. Will rent again.”

“Had a great vacation here. House was lovely! Very clean and great spot in the mountains. The ping pong table, fireplace, and hot tub were big hits. Only thing to note is there's only a tv in the basement room and its hard to work so just keep in mind if thats something you want on your trip. It didnt impact us much and owner was great in communicating with us when we had issues. ”

“The house was amazing! The fact that Every bedroom had its own bathroom was great for each family we went with. Super close to the pools and the hill if we were there when the hill was open that would have been really nice! I asked the owner if they had games in the house which they replied no, so we brought our own but they actually had lots of games to play. Also asked if they had spices and they said only salt and pepper but had more than that. Would be nice if they had some toys for kids to……

“This was an awesome place to stay. The house is great, layout is great, amenities are great.You can tell the owners really love their house. I really enjoyed our stay here. The ski-in/ski-out was extra nice. The kitchen is well appointed which is good since it is a bit of a drive to Golden. ”

“The house was as advertised and just a short walk to the lifts and we could ski all the way home to the back door.”

“Beautiful home that was plenty of space for the 11 of us that stayed here. Couldve easily slept another couple kids here too as some of the beds were big enough for a couple little ones to share. Great entertaining areas as well. Hot tub was oversized which was great as everyone wants to relax after a day of skiing/riding. Really a beautiful property. Well done! Also Kieran was easy to deal with and offered multiple times through the week to pickup recycling and trash and even asked if……

“Incredible property. Meticulously maintained, beautifully clean and very well stocked with all the kitchen kit you might need. The piste (holohike- blue and Holiday - green) are directly over the road so truly ski to door. There is an enormous and well thought out kit room in the garage to remove skis and boots, and a boot warmer so they are ready to go in the morning. The house is lovely and warm with under floor heating. The photos do not do it justice. My daughter was worried the furnishings……
