“We stayed in apartment 209 nd the 2 radiators in the room were not working, only the radiator in the bathroom worked. Nevertheless, the air-conditioning supplemented the need, as it was quite cold outside. The microwave was ok, we found plates and basig cooking tools, but the fridge was so noisy that i had to unplug it to be ale to sleep. “The hotel is reasonably functional. The food served at the restaurant was truly amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive. However, this is the only positive thing to be remarked upon in this regard. We booked two rooms and in one of them (15) we were utterly shocked to find out that the windows wouldn’t open. The air conditioner didn’t work properly either. There are no lifts in the entire building, therefore we needed to carry our own luggage to the rooms through the stairs. The……

“The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30).”

“A rather nice hotel by the Raba River, only 10 min. walk from the train station and 5 min. walk from the city center. The B/F is good enough, and a supermarket (Interspa) nearby is a big plus. There is almost no Wi-fi signal in my room (217), I have to go to lobby to get connected. However, if I come to Gyor again, I'll still stay at this hotel.”

“Though the hotel looks aged, it is very clean and air-conditioning functions very well. The ceiling of my standard single room is high and it makes the room more spacious. The wifi signal is strong. The buffet breakfast is tasty and with many food to choose. The staff are friendly and efficient. Its location is super. However, the noise of flushing in neighboring rooms is noticeable while human noise is still minimal, possibly it is related to the pipes in the building. With such a price and……
