“We had a wonderful time joining family and staying in this cozy home for a few days. Prior to check-in, the owner gave us more specific, helpful directions as to the exact location. Walking distance to the lake, firepit available for use near shore, chairs to use outside, and a porch with outside seating was very handy. We had plans within Syracuse for one day and stayed at the house another. Plenty of games available. We will definitely consider staying here again. Small suggestions to improve……

“We stayed here as a rest stop during a long distance commute for a lacrosse tournament.The kids were 15 and 16 and absolutely lost their minds over the bedroom with the bunk beds. They immediately converted it into a man cave and set up their video games We barely saw them.The furniture was very comfortable and cozy in the family room, although no-one could seem to get the propane fireplace to work. There were some minor inconveniences like the sliding door on the downstairs bathroom closet……

“This home was perfect size for 2 families with young children. Spacious bedrooms to fit porta crib and all the extras. Enjoyed the private and quiet space. Clean and host was very accommodating. “We spent two nights with our dogs. It was a beautiful property very picturesque. Our dogs loved the yard and kennel. After a couple days of hiking and a lot of leash walking they enjoyed being able to run free in the fenced yard. The house had a great layout with lots of space. ”

“We completely enjoyed our week staying right on the water at Oneida Lake! The home has been beautifully renovated and has all new appliances. The water right in front of the house is knee deep for quite a ways out- making it perfect for our kiddos to play in all week. We would stay here again!”

“House was perfect for our needs -- a long parents weekend visit to Colgate. Not exactly Colgate adjacent, but convenient to the airport, Syracuse and right on Lake Oneida and 30 min to Colgate. Just down the road from Verona Beach State Park and it's possible to keep walking to Sylvan Beach -- and with perfect fall weather it was an amazing walk. House was great to cook in and made for a fine remote work location. I only wish we'd made better use of the she shed /man cave b/c it is an awesome……
