Bed linens, blankets, and pillows are provided for all beds and rooms.
The bathroom on this floor has a roomy corner shower, sink, and toilet. Towels, washcloths, and toilet paper are provided.
The laundry closet with front load washer and dryer completes the 2nd floor.
Outside you will find lots of room to explore and enjoy the simplicity of Lancaster County. There is a large yard for the children's games, plus gardens and flowers. This farm features 85 acres of tillable farmland, so if you visit in the summertime you may even get to witness the tractors or harvesters in action. The peaceful waters of the Pequea Creek flow through the back of the property. Large enough for paddle boats or kayaks, this is no small stream. :) Beside the creek we have a picnic area to enjoy lunch in the shade. The boats, picnic area, firepit, etc. are available for our guests to use by permission.
On the farm you will also find horses, ponies, dogs, cattle, and cats. These animals belong to the host family which also live on the property.
Note: Please do not enter the animals' pens or meadows.
We are not responsible for accidents.
Other things to note
This home is on a beautiful farm in rural Lancaster County. Although close to many of the area’s main attractions, it feels away from it all. An Amish family lives on the same property and they will be your hosts.
