Great location in a beautiful setting

This house has everything needed for a relaxing vacation at Kiawah, including 3 bathrooms! Close to the beach, pool, golf and only a 15-minute bike ride to Freshfields. Host is great with communication. Looking forward to our next visit!

Sparrow Pond Can't Be Beat

This is the second Sparrow Pond property we've stayed at. Just like the first, which was under a different owner, we very much enjoyed our time here. The beach is just a short walk away, and the house itself is cozy and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

The cottage was very clean and not a far drive from front gate. Easy to walk to pond and then to pool and beach so location was great for us as we enjoyed the treehouse feel. This home does have an older kitchen and bathrooms but worked well for our family of four and a large dog.

Quiet Sparrow Pond

Sparrow Pond area is nicely located, just inside the first gate. This allows one to get to Freshfields and the Kiawah restaurants relatively easily. The beach is just a short walk and the property well maintained.

Awesome location

What a beautiful place to relax. The outdoor deck gives the feeling of being in a tree house. The neighbors are plenty quiet. Walking distance...biking is better! to pool and beaches. The trails surrounding are spectacular!

A Month at Kiawah

We spent the month of February here, the longest length of time for vacation ever. We were pleased that the cottage was very clean, and that the kitchen was so well-supplied with pots, pans, and utensils, as we cooked in frequently. We also loved that the cottage was within a few blocks of the beach, where we walked every morning. Richard was very available ahead of time for our specific questions. Kiawah is "our place", as we have been coming here since the 1980's, so I am sure we will return!

Paradise In The Palms

From start to finish Richard was one of the best VRBO hosts I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is immediately responsive and is there for you if you have any questions or needs. The cottage itself was exactly as advertised. The decorating added to the feel of a beach holiday and there is lots of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and having 3 full baths was a big plus for 3 friends travelling together. The walk to both the pool and the beach was very doable and the beautiful surroundings along the path and road add to the experience. We stayed for a full month in April/May and would definitely consider this lovely property again.

Sparrow Pond Cottage

We loved it. Convenient to the pool and beach. Just one note in contract or provided documents about house - we would have appreciated the head's up about no toilet paper. After a long day of driving that was a surprise at check-in. Everything else was as described. Kitchen was stocked with enough utensils, cookware, and dishes for our family of five. We had a great time - thanks for allowing our doggies!
