It looks further on the map but it is literally 5 mins slow walk from the visitor’s center and entrance to petra and 1-2 minutes further from Jett bus. But the hotel and shopping street is small n right across the center.”

“I booked this hotel last minute and was originally supposed to arrive after 7 pm, but due to stopping on the road to watch the beautiful stars, we ended up arriving after 11 pm. The staff was very attentive and waited for us, even sending a message to check if we were still coming. I liked the concept of paying upon arrival. The place was clean and the apartment was incredibly spacious. The only downside was that the beds were too firm for my comfort. However, considering the low price, it was……

“Property is just up the hilly road from the Petra visitor center which you can see from the location. Perfect stay if you have a car because there is parking and driving down to Petra visitor center / restaurant strip is a 1min drive. No need to even GPS it. The rooms were okay. The owner lives onsite and is very welcoming and accommodating. Would stay here again for the price! ”

“It was an amazing experience in La Maison! I am impressed by the hospitality of all staff there. Me and my friend was first time travel to Jordan, and stayed at La Maison for just 1 night at the beginning. But we found that to rush and tired of keep changing hotels, so we decided to stay st La Maison for 1 more night. And the front desk staff offered us free breakfast buffet. Also, we came Wadi Musa for visiting Petra. However, we did bring enough Jordanian Dinar, one of their front desk staff……

There is a convenience store close by and a few restaurants. Breakfast is fantastic and includes eggs. The walk to the hotel from the entrance at Petra is 15 minutes and all uphill.”
