“The room and facilities was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. It is nestled in town but away from the business to keep the noise volume down. The only draw back is it smelled like propane. Not sure if it is what the heating sustem ran off from. We stay again I will inquire on if the heating system runs on propane.”

“We stayed in this home for 2 nights during our trip to Maine. The place is in close proximity to a few convenience and grocery stores, as well as many restaurants and beautiful hiking trails in a ski village. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we enjoyed the balcony at the back of the place, which has a view of the river. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and this place was a great spot for us to relax after busy days in Sugarloaf. ”

“This is the second time i have stayed at Highland Hideaway. Paul & Lois are AWESOME HOSTS. Their place is in a perfect location for my needs. It was immaculate as usual and Lois always throws in a few personal touches. I highly recommend staying here. I'll be back next year.”
