“Older resort but has a lot of charm. Because it's older the lobby has that older smell to it when you walk in. Parts could be updated to some of the buildings. We rented an economy room with twin beds and a bunker up top in the Lodge building. The room was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom, table and TV with mini fridge and coffee maker and closet with ironing board . The grounds and view were gorgeous. “This is it! Everything about Lakemore Resorts and the surrounding areas is ALL you could ask for on a trip. The properties are beyond well appointed and everything has been thought of and arranged. The houses are new and warm and perfect. The city is incredible. We were there for the weekend but wish we could have stayed all week. We will be going back again (and again!). The staff was prompt and efficient and incredible. I travel the world for a living and this is one of my favorite trips.”

“Loved the view of the lake. Cabin/efficiency apartment was less than we were expecting. Our host was very standoffish and not friendly. The site stated a bedroom and usually that includes a door with privacy that was not the case. Electrical was outdated and couldn't use the microwave. Parties on either side of us were very loud and one group partied very loudly all night. No air conditioning and it was very uncomfortable sleeping. “From the moment we first stepped on the property everyone was absolutely friendly. The owners stopped by and introduced themselves, and they're incredibly nice. The site was immaculate and exactly as advertised. We did not use the coach house, but the owners allowed a peek inside. If you're considering using it, it's very nice inside.
