「All of the appliances worked well and there were plenty of dishes and silverware. The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and the blankets were insufficient. It would be great to have a chair in each of the bedrooms. Unfortunately, we had rainy, cool weather and didn’t get to enjoy the pool and grounds. 」

「This little houseboat was so cute. Everything worked as expected. It was so romantic to be able to sit on the back of the boat and fish all night with my wife. Everything was perfect. Everyone we meet was so nice. If I had only one recommendation if you stay on this boat, take you a bed topper or something, it wasn’t a very thick mattress. The second night we slept a lot better. But we will definitely be back. I think this is going to be a favorite place to spend time and making memories. Also...

「The owner was very flexible with me getting the house booked. Our initial stay had to be cancelled shortly before the trip due to the cold weather with possibility of ice in January and was very helpful in getting me in at a different date while helping in costs/refund.」

「Extended family (all adults ) stayed for local wedding. Large gathering areas in house. Bunk beds were made for children not adults. Master shower door wouldn’t stay closed in use (magnetically). And notified owner of a toilet that wouldn’t fill after flushing. (She stated it would be addressed after we left. Also note : there is a surplus charge to heat the hot tub / pool which is not included in rental price ( I was not aware of that ! ) Over all it was clean and beds were comfortable. ...

「From beginning to end, this host was excellent with communication! He made the booking process easy as we had some questions. He was very responsive to our messages. The check in process was great! 「We enjoyed our stay in the studio. The view is just beautiful with the big green yard, large trees, and lake. We took the kayaks out a couple times and our kids loved the sandy area by the water while I sat on the lawn chairs. There was another group staying at the cabin on the property but we felt like we had plenty of privacy. Our kids slept well on the pull out couch bed and the King bed was very comfortable. Overall a very peaceful experience and we’re glad we got to stay there!」

「Food from prior guest left in fridge. Bed sheets were dirty. Appeared to be seeds of some sort like bird seed. Very odd. 」

「Red hen was 15 minutes from wedding and reception. The house was very clean and peaceful.Due to the early season there were some leaves around the patio, but this was a non issue for us. The master suite was awesome. This is an older home in a safe neighborhood close to anything you should need. The host was very responsive. We also had the tiny house and it was perfect for our extra guest 」

It was single level for those with mobility issues and a separate sun room with TV and games for my preteen night owls. We will 100% book again when we return to the area!」

「House had everything we needed. The pool and backyard were beautiful but it was too cold to fully enjoy them. Communication was great with the owner. Location was close to town but very manageable for downtown traffic. Since we were in town for the stock show having garage access was a big plus. 」

「The backyard needs some TLC, trash needs picked up, torn curtains on deck, etc.. - we were disappointed to see the pool in such need of cleaning, especially after being asked to sign a waiver to use the pool. Overall, the house itself took care of our needs, we fit comfortably and had a nice stay. 」

「Beautiful property, well maintained. We met there as a business team and had plenty of space to work. Kitchen was well-equipped (best I have seen). Everything was clean and tidy.The only negatives were the two king beds in the master suites. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the topper made it worse. The contract you are required to sign is extremely tight and wouldn't allow us to have a couple of other business associates over to meet.A great place for a big family gathering.」
