“The cabin was extremely clean. Probably the cleanest VRBO we ever experienced!! It was perfect for the two of us and our dogs. Exactly as described! The cabin is modest, the beds very comfortable! All the necessities available. The setting was beautiful, right there on the creek! The only reason I rated the check-in process a 3 is because we had great difficulty finding the cabin in the dark! “The home was very nice. It definitely could use some minor fixes and updates. Light switches had painters tape with instructions on them. The living room heat didn’t work as well as the bedroom heat. This caused the bedroom to be very warm or the living room to be cold. The jet tub in the master bedroom didn’t work. “My dad and I went to an event at a nearby offroad and stayed here. The place was right across from a farm with a great view of a local forest. It was quiet and clean and they included a nice welcome basket along with some toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a little trouble with the Internet at first but the owner quickly took care of it. They were very communicative and apologetic. “This little property was literally the sweetest little stay. We drove through the night from Knoxville TN and the owners allowed us to check in early. Once we arrived the home was spotless and welcoming with the most precious little gifts. This home was beyond accommodating with plenty space, beds, linens, toys and games for the kids, and the big yard with a swing. We loved the quiet setting and will definitely be back. “We chose this place for the proximity to where we were visiting and for its history. Trust the reviews commenting on the quirkiness and the crazy stairs. The house is really old and it shows in every room from the old closed off fireplaces to the creaky floors and super steep stairs.
