“The property was very clean. Cottage was in excellent shape. The property owner was VERY nice and quick on replying. It was out in the country but close to Middlebury and Shipshewana. Definitely will stay again when we come back up.”

“we loved being in the water floating, fishing and just talking to each other. The wineries were wonderful to visit and do some taste testing, the farmer markets had some good deals with home made cheese and jerky. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed talking to them and petting their friendly dog, thank you for the use of your cottage we needed the break from the rat race called life. Thank You till next time”

“Nice place on the river. Comfortable and spacious. A few bad things, a few feet off a main road and vehicle noise. A salvage yard literally across the street, no screens on the windows so cant open due to bugs.”

“We had a lovely time. The home was very clean. The master bath was impressive! Cleaning people need to get under beds better, and when I stripped my bed before we left, I found a small vial of eye drops in the bedding. Wondered how it got there, since it wasn't mine....looked like a prescription. Plenty of dishes and silverware. They even had things in the refrigerator we could have used it we needed them. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Our house was damaged in the May 7 Portage, MI tornado so after outside repairs were completed, we moved out for 2 weeks while they completed inside repairs. While the tornado was a tragic experience for us, to be able to spend time at this location, on the lake (the sunrise is breathtaking), with family and friends was a blessing in disguise. We also had unseasonably warm September weather the entire time so we enjoyed the lake, the paddleboat, kayaks and the boat! Working with the insurance……

“This location is great for people looking for quiet and enjoy peace! The house has lots of space and has all the amenities required. My only down side if the WiFi, as I had to work the entire week, the connection dropped almost every day, but who rents this house for working the entire week???”

“Great house to stay in while visiting South Bend. Beds/linens extremely clean, house overall is very clean and comfortably fits a large family/group of friends. Convenient to all stores and to Notre Dame campus -a short walk or a quick car ride. We highly recommend this property and would consider renting again on our next visit.”
