Horn HideAway: wooded cottage, lake access

Northern Michigan is a perfect summer getaway! We have 2 paddle boards and a kayak for Lake Louise, a 3 minute walk around the block! Families- there’s a nice sandy beach with tether ball around the block and a playground, too! Volleyball net and ladder ball are great for the front!

Horn HideAway is a peaceful retreat just outside of Gaylord, Mi.
The space
The Horn HideAway features 2 bedrooms and a loft space. This large loft accommodates a queen and double bed with a dedicated workspace, including an extra monitor. We affectionately call this the “Bird’s Nest”.

The kitchen has been completely updated within the last year and includes a new stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. A bar extends from the wall in the kitchen and accommodates 2 bar stools adjacent to the dining room table. Small kitchen appliances include coffee pot, crockpot, waffle maker, electric knife, electric mixer and griddle. Cook outdoors with my new charcoal grill!

There is a fire pit outdoors and several outdoor seating options. Some new marshmallow roasters are in the kitchen. If you need help with starting the fire, I keep some fire starter logs indoors.

TV works and cell service is good. StarLink internet is hooked up!
