“This was just a tiny cabin on a small resort property. There was a large backyard for games. Loved the pool house and lake was clean. I did not realize this cabin was not directly on the lake. “It is an old cabin/house that is a bit run down. Our biggest issue was the super intense musty smell. We were also disappointed with the quality of the bedding and towels (which only 2 were left for our group of 4). It's a really steep price tag for a property like this and I would never use the word serene to describe it. The owners were easy to work with, but we were glad we only had to be there to sleep. Used provided fishing gear and the kids caught some nice sunnies, smallmouth and northern! Home was large and inviting. Plenty of space. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Plenty of extras so that I didn’t need to pack my entire kitchen. Lots of outside toys/floaties/bikes/kayak to keep us busy. Had fun on rainy day playing music via Bluetooth……

“This was our sending time at the yurt. We just love it there. The location is perfect for visiting the bog area. It is so cozy there and the Maley’s are such great hosts. They have added amenities since we were there last March such as an outdoor shower and more power boxes. The only other thing that I could possibly want is a birdfeeder or two that I could view out the window while sitting on the couch. If you are visiting in the winter, slippers would be good to bring as the floor stays……
