不滿:整潔度、職員與服務、設施服務和住宿狀況
I have previously enjoyed exceptional stays at InterContinental properties, notably in San Diego and Sanya. During a recent business trip, due to the absence of a nearby InterContinental hotel, I chose the Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville South Bartram Park (13934 Village Lake Circle, Jacksonville, FL 32258) for a two-night stay from March 20 to March 22, 2025, trusting the IHG brand.
After my first night, I requested a late check-out, which Mr. Rojo, a courteous long-haired male staff member, promptly approved. However, merely an hour later, Ms. Chris, a female staff member who was overweight, wearing glasses, with a slight bald spot, and dressed in a red and white floral shirt, rudely rescinded this agreement without providing any valid reason. Her demeanor was unprofessional and hostile, raising serious concerns about racial discrimination, especially as her colleague appeared embarrassed by her conduct and even questioned her decision by asking, “Are you serious?”
In all my years of traveling and staying at various hotels, I have never encountered such blatant discrimination. This incident is completely unacceptable and has severely tarnished my perception of the IHG brand. I strongly advise fellow travelers to reconsider staying at this property to avoid potential discriminatory treatment.
