「Once we got to grips with the traffic flow on arrival and parked up everything else was on foot which made a pleasant change from what we’re used to. Our 3 night stay was spent walking and visiting pretty much every shop looking for bargains and stopping occasionally for coffee and cake . Each evening we had multiple choices for pub meals all of which were great. Our host was very helpful and we wanted for nothing and the accommodation at Rose cottage was sublime Great fun for us and our dog」

「We booked the Garden Suite which was a lovely room with stunning views. Unfortunately on the first night there was a young family in the room above us and they were pretty noisy jumping up and down. I asked reception to have a polite word which they did. My only other negative was the bed; the mattress was so hard it was a killer. The hotel did put a duvet directly onto the mattress but I think having the option to have a topper would have been better, especially given the luxury sell of the...
