“We loved our trip and will be booking again in the future! All the comments about the driveway being rough are accurate but as long as you have 4wheel drive, a truck, or SUV you should be fine. The water is normal well water. We showered in it just fine but we have family that has well water so maybe thats why it didn’t bother us. Over all we loved this little cabin and can’t wait to come back❤️”

“Beautiful cabin. Over decorated with lots of dust catchers. Such as many artificial flowers, that are just not cleanable. I am high allergy and feel that things that can’t be dust and/or wiped down between each guest should not be in a home that is being rented,”

“This was our second time staying here for the holidays. We love EVERYTHING about this cabin. Excellent communication & customer service provided by the host, Debbi. We got to see several deer on the property & in an empty wooded lot next door. Very safe & quiet community. The kids enjoyed the table games and puzzles while we were there.The fire pit in the evening was a delight and kept us warm while cooking marshmallows.The Notelly River was low tide the first day of so then it was high tide and running through the sounds of the water hitting the rocks or the low branches was very relaxing to hear.Kevin is a great host and very communicative as well. As per previous reviews the private road getting in to the property is……

“We had a very relaxing and great vacation! The communication with the agent couldn’t be better. Make sure you bring a 4 wheel drive car for a safer drive and flashlights in case you get to the chalet late at night. Also, the heated floors is a plus when you come in the winter! Thanks for sharing your home with us. ”

“We had a terrific 3 day weekend in Blue Ridge at the Honeysuckle Chalet. Beautiful, quiet setting but easy access to highway to get into town, go to hiking areas and white water rafting. House is wonderful, clean with comfy beds, fun pool table and great outdoor area for grilling and watching football outside. Can’t wait to go back again.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing. The house was very nice and peaceful. We are a group of friends who get together a few times a year and rent properties all over the United States. There are a few things that we feel need to be noted and addressed for future guests. The house should be supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Each bathroom had one roll of toilet paper, the kitchen was supplied with one trash bag. We were told that if we did not put all trash in……

“Great cabin, my man fixed the main level deck door. It was scrubbing,had to remove some loose screws and insert pieces of wood and reinsert screws. Works great now.Cabin had everything you need and we enjoyed. Parking is tricky but i recommend this propery and will rent again, very nice!”

“It was our second time staying here and will come back again for sure. Love the cabin and the location. The outdoor area next to the cabin is outstanding. Communication with the owner was great. There was winter weather in the area and the owner came out and plowed the driveway the same day so there were no issues with leaving the property. ”

“The view was absolutely amazing for starters! Matt recommended someone who sells firewood locally and we were able to have a wonderful fire both nights. The cabin was very clean and we had everything we needed to cook some meals. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday!”
