About this space
Remarkable gathering place for family and friends. Dining table for 12 overlooks the lake. Two large living areas. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire ring. Fully equipped kitchen. Four bedrooms with king beds, three also have twin bunks. 3 full bathrooms, two large capacity water heaters. Gas grill and outdoor picnic area overlooks the 550 acre crystal clear lake with water toys galore (kayaks, SUPs, canoe, rowboat, see guidebook). Steps to the lake, minutes to the ski hill. Dock is out of the lake 10/1/23. Anticipate putting it back in before Memorial Day 2024.
The space
Spacious home built specifically for large family groups. Space to share time together, as well as retreat to the quiet of your own room. Roomy living rooms on both first and second floor let everyone enjoy themselves. Tons of puzzles, games, water toys, DVD's, yard toys and games.

You'll enjoy the entire home, all to yourselves.
Other things to note
Over 88 rental groups have loved this property in the past 4 years, averaging 4.96/5 stars on multiple rental platforms. Many describe it as among the best they've ever rented.
This is a private family home, not well suited for youth groups. No parties, please. We are close friends with our neighbors on the lake and hope you will respect their space and quiet time on the lake 10pm - 7 am.

Awesome!
Our 3 generation family loved this house. Minutes from Ski Brule made this a perfect location for our annual Family Ski Trip. We had lots of room to spread out and lots of room to gather together too. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Winter fun on Hagerman Lake
WOW! This spectacular home was the absolute best for our winter getaway weekend! The large open spaces accomodated our group perfectly. Bedrooms were spcacious, beds VERY comfortable! Great 2nd level area for kids to play, read, or watch a movie. The kitchen was well appointed and a fun area to prepare our meals together. It was obvious that this home is well cared for as it was impeccably clean! Owner John was gracious, easy to connect with, and wanted to be sure all our needs were met! We loved every minute of our stay! Thank you John and JIll for sharing your beautiful home! We will be back!!

Ski get-away
We had 3 families using the house for a quick ski trip. This home could not have been better. Everything was well maintained and exactly as described if not better. It had everything you could need for a stay away from home. The home was truly built for a group to stay with ease. John was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Having rented places around the country in the past 10 years, I can easily say this was easily the best place! We already were looking to book again next year.

Great place for a large group!
Perfect our group of 10 people! The house was spotless and we loved all the games and puzzles provided by the owners. The upstairs family room was a great place for the kids to hang out together. Loved how all upstairs bedrooms had a king bed along with bunk beds, it was the perfect set up for our family. Working with John was a pleasure! Would love to return!

Perfect UP getaway
We came up here for a quiet, relaxing fall weekend. It was everything I wanted! There were so many movies, books, games and puzzles around the cabin to keep us entertained. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. Everything was organized and really clean. The lake in the back is a total chill vibe.

Golf/fishing/hiking retreat
This is a great property to stay at in a very rural area of upper peninsula of Michigan. A large beautiful house on a very nice lake with abundant hiking trails, fishing and golfing opportunities nearby. We enjoyed the four bedrooms each with a king size bed. This house would be perfect for multiple couples on a weekend getaway. Nice fire pit and gas grill in the fairly private backyard was a nice way to end the evening. My bed was incredibly nice as I typically get a backache at motels and did not.
