“We loved staying at this charming B&B type inn. They do have a full bar and an outstanding bartender. The setting is beautiful and the location is excellent. Be aware that it's kind of like a great old house, so you might be able to hear your neighbors. ”

“The place is dirty. There is no hot tub. There are no fire pits. There was a huge stain on our carpet. We got there, walked in our room, walked down to the river, walked back to our room and then left. Dont be fooled by the photos, this place is a dump. BAIT AND SWITCH”

“The property didn’t give directions on how to properly enter the code to open the door. We had to talk to another person staying in the property to give us the trick to entering the code in the keypad. Additionally, we kept requesting extra pillows with no success after playing phone tag with missed calls and unanswered messages. Room was clean at least and the property is in a quiet, secluded location.”

“We had such a lovely time here. The place has an amazing view of the Bay right out of the living room. We loved the decor, art, and furniture of this place, the owner has great and interesting taste.If you are here for oysters, this location has great proximity to a few Hog Island locations, just minutes away. But be sure to make reservations in advance, they book up!”

“We had a wonderful stay in Flat at the Cork Oak. The place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had everything we needed to cook if we wanted and close to many great restaurants when we didn’t feel like cooking. There are many beautiful things to do and see within an hour drive.”

“Had a great time. Heating was effective, The chickens and fresh eggs were fantastic! We were a little surprised by how petite the apartment was but as we were traveling with our dog, this place seemed to be the cheapest dog-friendly rental available, and over all we had a great time! Hosts were incredably friendky as well! ”

“The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was both cute and cozy. The entire space was clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The main road and the shops are just a short walk away and the forest surrounding the area was gorgeous. ”

Wonderful site, a few tweaks would make it amazing

"We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high. The hotel facilities, which included a small pool, hot tub, gym, spa and a bocce ball court, overlooking the coast. The quality and tastes of the food was average at best. We enjoyed some “happy hour” snacks and breakfast on-site. Overall, the food was a bit bland and a touch too salty. The view from the restaurants was spectacular nonetheless. Overall, we had a wonderful visit to the area and this facility."
