“We were in Inglis with family who stayed at another VRBO—all spending time with our sister and bro-in-law who live in Venice. Nice house, great views living in the trees. Clean, great shower and nice hot water and great water pressure with plenty of room in house and on screened porches to sit around and chat. Beds were comfy. Only drawback was linens seemed like they were put away damp because some had a mildew smell. This is easily fixed by cleaning crew making sure linens dry. Noting this for……

“The house was exactly as advertised. We all were comfortable and had plenty of space. We used all the river toys, floats, paddle boards, and kayaks, and then came back and cooked meals, played pool and indoor games. We had questions about the river and the owner promptly texted back within minuntes. This was great for our group of adults and would have been wonderful if we had kids along. “This place was wonderful! Clean little cabin. We stayed outside most of the time. The dock to the water is just steps away and we spent 80% of our time out there! Even with the low tide, there was plenty of water to fish. Ozello itself was amazing! The bugs weren’t horrible, but we live in old Florida so are used to them. I’d definitely stay here again!”

“This place was great, close to everything and still a 5 minute kayak from a beautiful river. The place looks better inside than outside, and was well furnished and clean. The coolest thing was the Blackstone grill. I do wish the creek in the back had a nice clean bottom, instead of the mucky murky one, but the water was clean at least. We never did see any manatees, because apparently the usually come up river in the winter time.”

“The Cedar Hill Depot is a small studio-style accommodation. I am picky about cleanliness, and everything was very clean! The bed was also comfortable. Be sure to read the listing carefully though. There is no separation between the living room and bedroom, so if your spouse is an early riser and you are not, it may not fit your vacation-style. Also, there is only a small microwave and a small refrigerator with a freezer section that will only hold maybe two ice trays. Keep this in mind when……

Although entirely satisfactory, this is an old house and has some quirks, such as a toilet sticking out of a closet in one bedroom and a very spongy floor in some places.
