“well...as the quality of all the aspects of the hotel, the price is way too expensive. The hotel is super old. it was clean in the public area but the room didn't smell good, smell like humidity and old. the all facilities are way too old. I dont wanna use the tub at all! the shower water temperature was not steady. The bed was really hard and uneven, seems something broken underneath. there were many facilities in the hotel campus but they were all very old and not maintained or renovated……

“Not a hotel I would visit again. It was a very tired place but will follow that up with it was a remote part of the Phillipines (north) and perhaps that is the general standard of hotels.”

“The best part is the location beach front. The staff were not too friendly and they are good at saying no to their hotel guests. There’s construction everywhere. No reliable television service. Food is mediocre for the price. They charge for everything even for ice. They need more training in hospitality because we felt not too welcome during our stay.”

“the breakfast is very good. the coast is perfect for people who hate crowds. although the coast is very rock, the beach is still good for relaxation and body dipping in salt water especialy in early morning where the salt water is warm and calm. it forms little lagoons for baths. I love it.”

“The property is great if you’re looking for a relaxing experience. It’s a small property but really nicely updated with modern amenities but still keeps the local charm. On-site guard is really courteous and helpful. It is a property overseen by the bigger Urban Wave Resort. You’d need to pick up the key from there and a helpful staff will guide/accompany you to the location of Balai Balatong. Had a pleasant stay even though only for a night to catch an early flight at the airport.”

“Water pressure in the washroom was so low. Smell was bad in the washroom. In other word sanitation was bad.”

“Its a terrible booking...i book fir this property through hotel.com but then the property saud theh never receive zny reservation or confirmation, we even show confirmation znd receit of payment. But theh deny it and blaned online booking. They never refjnd my money thag i booked for 2 nights so please nevef ever book on this hotel or any booking online on this property, they jusf scam me. I paid for nothing. I tried to call the customer service they saud they gonna help me. But i called 6x but……
