Super Chic Pines Hideaway

This contemporary loft style cabin is exquisitely designed and outfitted for a dream winter wonderland escape. Walk in on the most welcoming and cozy open living space with access to a separate loft for your guests. 

Natural elements meet updated and modern additions. A newly updated kitchen is there for you to prepare a delicious meal for you to enjoy indoors or on the sun-soaked patio with nature as your backdrop.  This quaint cabin breathes elegance in the woods and is not only aesthetically pleasing but comfortable for those winter retreats with a natural wood burning fireplace in the living space that will warm up the whole cabin to the perfect snuggling temperature. 

A hidden escape is nestled out of the main Idyllwild center but a short 5-minute drive will get you right into town to enjoy the local restaurants and shops.

on-line listing not accurate

The property is in a good location near town and hiking areas. The towels were lovely and the living space and kitchen were in good condition. Heat worked well. The property is listed as three bedrooms, but does not list that one bedroom is the loft and the other bedroom is in a separate space in the back of the property. The outdoor furniture and patio were covered in leaves and pine needles. Bits of trash were littered about the yard. It would have been nice if it had been swept before we arrived. On our last morning, we found crackers in one bed that we had not eaten and an unknown hair clip in another bed. This led us to believe the sheets had not been washed. The property manager's communication was good before check-in but I did found him rude when I called about the bedroom situation. If you are ok with the third bedroom and second bathroom being in a separate room from the main house it might just work fine for you.

Great location wish we could’ve experienced the whole property

The property has a great location very close to town. We loved the access to everything. The property was clean, and the vaulted ceiling and fireplace were nice. It snowed the day before we arrived and checking in to a property at 40 degrees left quite a bit to be desired. For future guests having someone turn on the heat working ld be nice. The path around the back of the property was not shoveled to access the full property which we rented (third bedroom). Leaving extra salt would have been a nice touch given it was still icy during our stay.Note the property is for sale and a realtor arrived to show the property before check out. We were able to check out before the showing.Thanks for letting us stay.

The house was beautiful but the hospitality was limited. It was snowing and the driveway and stairs to reach the house were covered in a foot of snow, making it difficult to discern where the steps actually were. My Husband had to shovel snow for an hour and a half to expose a path to All entry doors. The snow was there days before we arrived..When weather conditions change, you make arrangements ahead of time to ensure the safety of your guest. I understand it snowed while we were in transit, but when we arrived, it was obvious no attempt whatsoever had been made to clear ingress and egress. Weather reports made clear days in advance what was coming, and when it would arrive. When I notified them, the response was less than desired \‘I know it's snowing hard right now but its out of our control” was the response. Again, arrangements to have the driveway and stairs to home SALTED is something arranged BEFORE a guest arrives, and before it snows... And the hospitality of warming up the home at least 1 hour is common courtesy. The house was 38 degrees and took 2 hours before we stopped seeing our breath. The trash cans were full, the lids blown off and covered by a foot of snow, and raccoons had come and scattered the trash. They did send out two guys to shovel the driveway, but that was all. Not the steps to the house. Lots of towels and Comfy beds but this could have been an A experience. I never write bad reviews, but this needed to be called out.

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. It is very close to town but far away enough to not hear any traffic. The cabin was so cozy, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our nice little getaway. I felt like the cabin was reasonably priced too. The owner was communicative and allowed us to check in early. Thank you so much! We’d love to come stay again :)
