Let’s start with this. The ladies we encountered while our one night stay were the friendliest people you could ever encounter. The check in was as pleasant as one could hope for and truly made you feel like if there was anything you need, they got it handled. The tavern was exactly what we had hoped for. Nice big and open. We had some drinks, played the machines and had a good supper. Waitress overheard my gf and I talking about how we wished we had a deck of cards to play some rummy, within a minute we had that deck of cards along with pen and paper.
Now with the negatives. What self respecting establishment in northern Alberta doesn’t have Sportsnet or some way to show the Oilers games? Hey owner, maybe that’s why your amazing bar is always empty? Also, not having the option to have breakfast onsite is a major downside to this place.
But as a whole, we enjoyed our stay.
Oh, the pillows on the bed were perfect. I greatly considered stealing these pillows.
