“We went for our 19 year wedding anniversary. We just wanted somewhere new to go to together. Although the hot tub was not working, we had a blast… Perfect location, super clean and very comfortable! We plan to visit again!! Ric was great, communication was excellent and we were able to check in early as well ”

“Simple and at ease from check in! So glad i found this property for our half way stop back to Illinois. The beds were so comfy, kid and dog friendly, no clutter, great water pressure. We felt at home! We stayed with our dog, 2 and 4 year old kiddos, their grandmother and my husband and myself and we had plenty of room! The back yard was so nice for our pup after a long drive. Would easily choose to stay here again, thank you for a great VRBO! ”

“The house was very nice. The kitchen was not well organized. There was plenty of bedding and towels. My complaints are: water coming from the faucet was much too hot and should come with a warning or the temp be turned down. There should be a railing going into the basement. I am 78 yrs old and it was difficult getting down the steps! We were told to wash all towels before leaving and detergent would be provided. Well, the washer was full of stinky wet clothes that had obviously been there……

“I liked how responsive the owners are and how quiet it is. The breakfasts are amazing - they give you a menu and bring it to your door when you want and it tastes great! The only downside is when it's super cold out, the floor gets cold, but they do run space heaters in addition to the regular heater and even put down extra rugs. The cabin is on stilts since it's right on the river so I think some insulation under the floor would make it perfect!”
