“Spent a night in the cabin with my girlfriend to get away from the city for a night. Location to Rickets Glen State Park is amazing. I highly suggest doing the main waterfall trail there. Takes about 3 hours with moderate difficulty due to a lot of steps and slippery surfaces. The cabin definitely has an authentic rustic feel if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s clear they have done/are doing some construction there. The fire pit is a really nice one, but the beds could use some help. Also……

“Francis was great and answered all our questions to make sure we were all set for our little getaway. Once there, we had a friendly care taker next door that offered us privacy, but also gave us some insight to all the activities available to us. We were surprised by traffic, but once in the back of the home with a little music you would have never known you were right beside the road. Definitely recommend and want to stay again in the future! ”

“My family and I stayed here for the weekend, and it was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of space, very clean, equipped with just about everything you can think of, and conveniently located to many area attractions. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely come back!”

“The house was beautifully kept and clean. It was well supplied with everything we needed. The one thing that was a bit of a suprise was the no Wifi/ phone service at the house and throughout the area. A little unnerving in that if we had an emergency and/or of family need to reach us. Once we got over the intial surprise then we were able to appreciate the time to unwind, seperate from the social media and decompress. Spend real quality time with the family. ”

“This 4 bedroom apartment is roomy and well-appointed. The screened in porch was a welcoming place to drink your first cup of coffee.”

“The lodge is designed for living on multiple levels with several bedrooms and different bed configurations. This allowed us to sleep 15 (children and adults) in ways that suited everyone's needs. The one bedroom listed with two bunk beds actually has one bunk bed (and double) but we were able to make do with a blow up mattress. The kitchen was fairly well supplied with anything one would need for cooking. A second frig in the basement was useful. There is little soundproofing, but it is a lodge,……
